Peter Ahnegard

Peter Ahnegard joined Sony Ericsson in March 2004 as Partner Manager for third-party game developers for Sony Ericsson's Java ME-enabled mobile phones. He is responsible for Sony Ericsson's gaming offerings for Fun & Downloads, PlayNow™ and preloaded phone programs.  Peter also supports partners with game development know how, technical support and business opportunities through Sony Ericsson Developer World. The mission of his group is to build relations and sign distribution deals with key game developers on a global scale and channeling third party content to Sony Ericsson's own distribution channels.  Among his many accomplishments was his work in spearheading Sony Ericsson's key game developer relationship efforts to secure action-packed 3D games based on Mobile Java 3D and OpenGL ES. Peter is a popular speaker and has spoken at a number of mobile gaming and mobile entertainment events, where he has provided insights from his experience in end-to-end sourcing and distribution of mobile content.     

Before Peter joined Sony Ericsson, he worked for many years in the IT industry and was behind many professional gaming projects in Sweden .

Michael Bates

Michael Bates is a 20-year veteran of the software industry. He has a long history of developing consumer-focused technology with a particular passion for mobile solutions. Michael is responsible for iqzone's overall strategy including product development, financing and partnerships. He began collaborating with his long-term technology partners to develop iqzone in early 2006. Since then, the mobile camera phone and online classified advertising markets have exploded, creating optimal conditions to launch the service to consumers. Prior to iqzone, Michael spent a few years focusing on research and development in the biotech industry, at which time he also worked with non-profit organizations on medical research and fundraising. In 1999, Michael led the launch of IQorder, the first online shopping portal available via mobile devices. The company was acquired by InfoSpace in 2000. Prior to that, Michael researched and invested in emerging technologies that led to the successful launch of two companies, Software Marketing Corporation and AutoMap, which grew to combined annual sales exceeding $20 million. Software Marketing Corporation was sold to Softkey International (a division of Mattel), and Automap was sold to Microsoft. Afterwards, Michael accepted a two-year position as a Senior Publisher with Softkey. Prior to that, he joined PC Globe as Vice President of Sales and drove annual revenues to $8 million within the first year. Michael graduated from Arizona State University.

He is responsible for leading the global monetization strategy for Connected Life products, including Mobile , PC Desktop clients, and TV. Bayle is a Board member of the Mobile Marketing Association and co-chairs the sub-committee on mobile advertising guidelines.  Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and his Masters degree in Computer Science from Stanford University .

Bilbruck has also held management positions with Advanced Digital Information Corporation where he acted as the Sony AIT technology expert for the company along with also product management roles at Leviton Telecom, now Leviton Integrated Networks, where he worked on the first home networking lines and also participated in the early Microsoft home project.

Before joining ShoZu, Mark was President of Incomit AB, a provider of solutions for mobile service providers to manage third-party consumer applications. Mark previously held a number of senior roles in Nokia over a 12-year period, including: Vice President, Global Customers with P&L accountability for 2G and 3G mobile business; Vice President, Internet Solutions Division with worldwide sales and marketing responsibility for taking several pre-revenue acquisitions to market in the enterprise and internet service provider space; General Manager, West Europe with accountability for several hundred million dollars worth of mobile systems business; Managing Director, Hong Kong; Managing Director, Taiwan; and General Manager, Cable Networks UK. Before joining Nokia, Mark was engineering manager for a multidisciplinary hardware and software development team in Raytheon Systems Ltd.  Mark holds an Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering from York University. Ettore Botta has been a producer and distributor of television programs for the past 25 years. He is currently VP Sales & Marketing for Sandra Carter Global, a TV distribution company with more than 1000 titles based in New York and Los Angeles. Ettore is also executive producer for The Hollywood Reporter weekly TV magazine which is shown on cable in the USA and Latin America. Ettore oversees production and distribution of programs for mobile applications to more than 20 territories and has made mobile deals in all major markets worldwide. Ettore started his career as a filmmaker in 1972, working as a director cameraman for SwedishTV, British television and has also produced several documentaries for National Geographic in Africa, Europe and Latin America.

Gregg Brown

Brown came to AT&T Mobility from Inovis, a leading B2B software company, where he served as a Director in their Business Development organization. Bruce helped to establish the PRISMIQ MediaPlayer as the industry's top-selling product, and to garner top awards such as "Product of the Year" from PC Magazine and other publications. Prior to joining PRISMIQ, Bruce served as senior vice president of marketing and business development for NightFire Software, a maker of service management and network provisioning applications for communication service providers, expanding the company's business into Europe and Asia. Christopher Brunner

Univision is the 5th largest media company in the U.S. with broadcast, cable, radio, music labels and an online division. He is responsible for strategy, carrier relations, business and product development, content, licensing, mobile marketing and direct to consumer programs across all divisions. He has orchestrated deals with all carriers, major labels, top artists in the industry, as well as the biggest brands and agencies in the country. Prior to founding the mobile group within Univision, Chris served in executive positions with Single Touch Interactive, Qualcomm, PRIMEDIA and CBS Storerunner. Chris currently is on the board of directors for the Mobile Marketing Association, iHollywood advisory panel and the Interactive Advertising Bureau's mobile advisory committee as well as the L.A. co-host for MoMeMo.

Saj Cherian

Saj Cherian is director of New Data Services at Virgin Mobile USA , the leading wireless youth network that is a joint venture between Virgin Group and Sprint Nextel. Cherian currently leads the company's mobile advertising business across mobile and online platforms, and was instrumental in the launch of Sugar Mama, Virgin Mobile's innovative service that lets customers earn airtime in their spare time for engaging with content from like-minded brands. Cherian also oversees product marketing of data services (messaging and mobile content) to Virgin Mobile's more than 4.6 million customers and is charged with developing the company's growth strategy for these services, including next-generation video and location-based offerings. In a prior role, he led the development of Day2Day, the company's second and most profitable wireless voice offer, which attracted over a million customers in less than one year.   A Marshall scholar, he earned a masters of philosophy. in European Politics and Society from the University of Oxford, Lincoln College and an A.B. from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School for Public and International Affairs. He is currently a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and serves on its Committee on Corporate Affairs.

 

Juha Christensen

Doug Craig

As vice president of programming for Discovery's new media division, Douglas Craig is responsible for the content on Discovery On Demand (Discovery's VOD offering), as well as mobile content offerings. He develops programming products and packages of Discovery Networks content for the new media landscape, and works across the company's business units to develop multi-dimensional partnerships.In his role for Discovery On Demand, Craig oversees programming strategy and the use of the more than 100,000 hours of Discovery Networks content. Craig also supervises the creation of added-value VOD programming elements, develops Discovery On Demand packages for advertisers and affiliates, and coordinates with Discovery Networks' on-air marketing department to use VOD to promote Discovery's linear networks.

 Craig joined Discovery Networks in 1997 as manager of programming research for Animal Planet following the network's launch. Shortly thereafter he transitioned into the Animal Planet programming department, reaching the level of vice president of programming and scheduling.Prior to joining Animal Planet, Craig served as manager of research at MTV Networks in Los Angeles and as a client service executive at Nielsen Media Research in New York .

 Craig holds a bachelor's degree from Bryant College and a master's degree from the City University of New York.

Shawn Freeman

As the senior vice president of product strategy and technology, Shawn Freeman is responsible for the company's technology initiatives, ensuring that Handango's innovative platform and products meet the needs of Handango's customers and partners.  Previously, Mr. Freeman was the CIO of Hotels.com. He was responsible for the planning, development and performance of the applications and technologies that drive the various customer channels for the company, including hotels.com, travelnow.com, the affiliate network, international sites and call centers. In addition, he was responsible for providing corporate IT services to over 1500 employees worldwide.  As part of the executive team for Hotels.com, Mr. Freeman helped shape the strategic direction of the company and ensured the company's technology solutions were enabling the business to capitalize on opportunities in both domestic and international markets.  Before joining Hotels.com, Mr. Freeman was the senior vice president of operations for Hybrid, a boutique IT consultancy based in Dallas. At Hybrid, he was responsible for business development, client management and delivery. Prior to Hybrid, Mr. Freeman was a founder of Big Theory, a start-up consultancy acquired by Worldwide Xceed Group in 2000. At Xceed, he was the chief creative officer and was responsible for the global user experience practice with over 200 employees in 10 domestic offices as well as offices in London and Amsterdam.  Overall, Mr. Freeman has founded three start-ups, a software company, a communications design firm and an IT consultancy. The software company, Business Management Solutions, was formed while he was attending the University of Texas in San Antonio.

Robert Gourdine

Chandra Hill

Chandra Hill is the Executive Director of Business Operations for Fox Interactive Media's Mobile division, a role in which she oversees the execution of mobile content distribution partnerships for one of the Web's leading online networks. Hill joined FIM in 2007 and serves as a key player in managing the mobile extensions of FIM properties such as MySpace, FOXSports.com, IGN Entertainment and MySpace. Before joining FIM, Chandra served as brand marketing director of AG Interactive's Kiwee division, where she was responsible for the AGI-branded global mobile product line. Managing over 10 active mobile storefronts, Chandra was instrumental in helping to drive AGI's leading presence in the marketplace. Chandra previously held marketing positions at both Farmclub.com and Twentieth Century FOX, where she worked on television and feature film marketing programs, respectively.  Chandra owns a B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles .

Lee Hancock

Lee Hancock, CEO and founder of go2, is one of the early pioneers in the local search and mobile directory industry, having started developing go2's Location-Based Services (LBS) technology in 1996. He is the co-inventor on ten U.S. patents with 1996 priority dates covering LBS and location referencing technologies.  From go2's initial public launch in 1999 as the first mobile, local search and directory website in the U.S., Mr. Hancock led go2's growth to over 110 employees, a $7 million annual run rate, and three rounds of Venture Capital and strategic financing in 2000 and 2001. He also led go2's formation of key technology and strategic alliances with industry-leading partners such as Amdocs, SAIC, VeriSign, Cendant and Coca-Cola.  In the depths of the dot-com meltdown Mr. Hancock kept go2 alive by successfully completing a management buyout of go2 in September 2002, and then maintained and improved go2's industry-leading products, traffic and carrier relationships. Helene Henriksson

With more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Ms. Henriksson holds the role of Vice President of Managed and Hosting Sales within Ericsson's Global Services organization, with key responsibility to drive managed and hosting sales for North America. She is responsible for hosting business development, which includes management of new end-user services, operating networks, field maintenance and management of customer care and billing. She is also responsible for business management, business and marketing consulting content aggregation platforms and Ericsson's Mobility World in North America which enhances the collaboration between network operators, developers, content providers, enterprises and technology suppliers in building applications for the Mobile Internet. Previously, Ms. Henriksson held the position of Sales Manager for fixed networks and vendor services within Ericsson's Asia and Latin America markets. Shawn Hopwood
