There are two steps to apply to speak.
First,
send an email to speakers@ihollywoodforum.com,
(310) 566-7745.
Include
the speaker title, bio, photo and proposed abstract or topics.
When possible, review the agenda on our website and suggest
three sessions that would be appropriate. We also
give priority to technology vendors that can bring in their
clients or partners for case studies, so let us know if
you have any clients you can contact as well.
Next,
also use
our Speaker
Submission Form so we will have your entry on file for
all future events. This way you don't have to submit for
each separate event, and we review the form when booking
spekaers for new events. The initial
deadline is two months before each event but we select speakers
on an ongoing basis until all spots are filled.
There is no charge for speaking and we do not require sponsorship.
However, we get hundreds of submissions for each event and
have room for only 10-percent of submissions.
We select dynamic, knowledgeable speakers based on expertise,
company affiliation, speaking experience, and relevance
of proposed topics. Speakers are expected to use their platform
to discuss the topic at hand, not make a sales pitch for
their company, products or services. We consider all stages
including Fortune 500 companies, middle stage companies
and emerging startups with innovative technologies.
Criterion we consider include company history and reputation;
job title; speaking experience; degree of clients and customers;
press and analyst reviews; investment status; innovative
products, services or applications.
We welcome submissions of topics as well as speakers for
these categories:
• Keynote: Nationally recognized
executives or leaders for keynote presentations to general
sessions
• Breakout Speaker: Speakers before select breakout
sessions
• Case Study: Presentation of two or more
partners showing strategies for solving a problem and outcome
• Panelist: Panelists for breakout
sessions led by a moderator
• Moderator: Journalists, analysts,
business consultants, executives to moderate breakout sessions.
• Product Demonstration: Paid exhibitor
or sponsor makes demonstrations to the audience.
We do not require speakers to pay a fee to sponsor in order
to speak. For most events speakers receive a full comp ticket
to attend (except for co-located summits at trade shows.)
However, if you were not selected and want to secure a definite
speaking spot, we offer sponsored product demonstrations
which includes making product demonstrations to the audience,
speaking spot on panel, case study, and exhibiting in the
product showcase. You can view details in the sponsorship
section. Please see our sponsorship page for information
about paid opportunities.
