We
expect attendance of over 400 delegates from the music industry,
record labels, digital media, developers, hardware makers,
audio components, retailers, marketing, peer to peer networking
and management and artists.
Music 2.0 will analyze trends and developments
affecting the business of digital music, including music's
growing portability, digital distribution, piracy, pricing
strategies, desktop music production, industry consolidation,
online marketing, subscription services, retail sales outlook,
peer to peer networking, file-sharing technologies, legislation
and legal issues, marketing and advertising, radio and programming,
and the rapidly expanding number of services targeting music
consumers.
The music industry has been transformed in the past few years.
As CD sales have plummeted, digital delivery has soared. After
much legal and technological posturing, digital delivery is
increasingly label-authorized, not subpoena-inducing. Music
2.0 brings together the brightest minds in the business to
evaluate what's working and what still needs to change. The
agenda, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors have the cumulative
expertise to raise the level of discussion on the subject
of digital music.
As a sponsor in our conference and showcase, you will:
• Play a prominent role at Hollywood 's leading business
conference devoted to dealmaking for music, digital technologies.
• Study business models for creating profit for the
music industry despite tumultuous times.
• Learn how next generation digital technologies and
devices will revolutionize the way music is distributed, and
the impact on niche sectors in the industry.
• Place your products and services before potential
partners and investors from around the world.
About Music 2.0:
