Award for Best Music Video. At the request of Guttermouth,
Hopeless Records was created to release a 7” for
them as they were between labels. Mr. Posen had no prior
experience running a record label, so he bought a book
called “How to Run an Independent Record Label”
and released the 7” in December of 1993. The first
track on the 7” was called Hopeless. Realizing
he needed to name the label, he borrowed the name and
thus Hopeless Records was born. |

for producing audio and video programming for the Music
Choice Television Network, the new broadband music service,
