Mr. Alexander has spoken on the subjects of Digital Media and Entertainment, Next Generation Game Platforms, Digital Content Delivery, VoIP and IP Security at industry conferences. Chris Anderson

Chris has led the magazine to four National Magazine Award nominations, winning the prestigious top prize for General Excellence in 2005. Previously, he was at The Economist, where Mr. Anderson served as U.S. Business Editor, Asia Business Editor (based in Hong Kong) and Technology Editor. He started The Economist's Internet coverage in 1994 and directed its initial web strategy. Mr. Anderson's media career began at the two premier science journals, Nature and Science, where he served in several editorial capacities. Prior to that Mr. Anderson worked as a researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory's meson physics facility and served as Research Assistant to the Chief Scientist of the Department of Transportation.

 

Colleen Andersen

Her career experience includes professional musician, major label executive, successful Internet entrepreneur and at present lead director of music industry engagements for MSN and Microsoft. Ms. Andersen is responsible for strategy, relationship management and business development for MSN and Microsoft across the areas of retail and subscription services, marketing, artist/label relations and industry evangelism. She also represents Microsoft on digital policy matters in the Digital Media Association. Formerly, Vice President of BD/Mktg for MongoMusic.com, Ms. Andersen was part of the executive management team acquired by Microsoft in it's acquisition of MongoMusic in September 2000.

John Beezer

Syd is responsible for managing the creative planning, technical development and strategic direction of all Virgin Records America artist websites and Internet Marketing initiatives, including artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Robbie Williams, Janet Jackson, Stacie Orrico and Ben Harper. Prior to Virgin, he was with Wind-Up Records, where he began in 1995 as Director of Sales & Marketing, but a persistent push to get the company online resulted in his assuming the newly created position of Director of Technology in 1996. Mr. Schwartz was promoted to Vice President of New Media in February 1998, Sr. VP of New Media in 2000 where he was responsible for a series of groundbreaking online promotions for Creed.
