Knox Carey is responsible for strategic market development for media
technology initiatives at Intertrust. He is an active driver of our activities in international standards bodies and industry specifications for digital rights management and trusted computing, serving as Chairman of the Architecture Working Committee of the Coral Consortium DRM Interoperability effort. Furthermore, he is responsible for the market development and specification of Intertrust's media service interoperability reference technologies. Dr. Carey joined Intertrust in 1999 as a member of the Technology Initiatives Staff. Prior to joining Intertrust he was a research scientist at Sony Corporation, where his work focused on advanced audio and video data compression. He was also VP of Engineering at Axiomatic Corporation, a startup in interactive TV middleware. Dr. Carey earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

He has been instrumental in the BT's 21st Century Network

in 1995 when she started her company, InterVox Communications

International Webcasting Association .
Ms Miles has facilitated a webcasting list since
1996, which continues today. Her first two members were
Mark Cuban and Howard Gordon. She
is considered a futurist and on the cutting edge. She produced
the first CBS webcasts of the All Stars Broadcasting Live,
which included baseball interactive games. She was instrumental
in working with a Korean company that built the first portable
players, and video phone prototypes that Bill Gates displayed
at his keynote at CES in 2001. She produced the first TV
and Internet Web Auction with Home Team Sports benefiting
the Leukemia Association. The auction was presented on the
Net and on network broadcast stations at the same time following
a Baltimore Orioles game. Her work in China includes promotion
and development of a digital media training center. More
than 10 years ago, Miles created with KCBS FM in Los Angeles
(Dick Van Dyke) a now playing application that showed songs
and program data on the Internet. Unique to this was the
in-sync delivery of the songs that were playing on the air
to billboards around Los Angeles as well as displayed Live
on the station's webpage. Miles worked with multimedia BB,
bulletin board services and interactive voice response systems
(IVR). She continues her role
today as a leading business strategist, trainer, presenter

for seven years as a member of the executive committee at
Pinnacle Systems. He served in various senior leadership roles
including as president of the Broadcast Solutions Division.
During that time Pinnacle grew revenues more than tenfold
to over $350 million and increased total shareholder value
by almost $600 million. Before joining Pinnacle Systems, Wilson
served as executive vice president, chief operating officer,
chief financial officer and as a member of the board of Accom,
Inc., another pioneering video company. While at Accom the
company grew dramatically and completed a successful IPO.
Prior to joining Accom, Wilson served as president and chief
executive officer of The Grass Valley Group (GVG is now part
of Thomson Multimedia) which provides video systems to production,
post-production and broadcast markets. While at GVG, then
an independently operated subsidiary of Tektronix, Wilson
lead a transformation of the organization, revitalized the
product lines, entered important new markets and helped the
organization transition to supplying complete high end digital
video solutions. Before leading GVG, Wilson served as vice
president of Merchant Banking Wasserstein Perella, an investment
bank based in New York City . He was part of the leadership
team responsible for investments in the bank's $2 billion
fund. He additionally held a variety of senior executive level
positions in general management, finance, marketing, and sales
for Ampex Corporation which was then a $700 million leader

Sheau has been with the digital revolution from
the start, contributing to MPEG, ATSC, DVD, and various
technical standards activities. His career spans from compression
research to product development in consumer electronics,
semiconductors, and content/media industries. He was an
contributing member of the Grand Alliance team, working
at Sarnoff in late 80s. In early 90s, Sheau was part of
Toshiba's DVD team, where he helped build the world's first
DVD encoder. While at Toshiba, he also chaired the DAVIC
1.0 Technical Committee. Later, he was the architect of
Philips first consumer HDTV on the ATSC market. At Philips,
and later on at ATI, he was responsible for the software
architecture of their DTV system-on-chip solutions. Sheau
is now a vice president at NBC Universal, with responsibility
in the areas of consumer and broadcast technology, standards,
and policy. He chairs the Content Protection Task Group
in the High-Definition Audio-Video Network Alliance (HANA).
He is an active member at the CEA IPTV OCC, and many other
industry groups. He is focusing his attention on making
digital entertainment a worldwide reality. Sheau holds graduate
degrees from M.I.T., and had done post-graduate work at
Princeton University. He also attended the executive MBA
program at INSEAD. He currently holds over 30 patents worldwide.
